There are at least 3 bands called Insania: 1) Hardcore/Crossover band from Brno (Czech Republic) founded in 1987 2) Power metal band from Stockholm founded in 1992. 3) Power metal band from Germany 1) Insania came to life in 1987, after several concerts the band was prohibited by StB (Secret State Police) in Brno (their native Moravian city). Then the band continues to play under the mask name Skimmed and in 1990 releases the first independent LP in then Czechoslovakia, “New Insanity”.
