The crucial part of the rally is the tuning of the car before the start of the each separate stage - you have huge tuning choices as the car suspension (high-low, hard-soft), choice of best tires, gear ratio, steering sensitivity, and so on. Colin McRae rally is probably the hardest rally game, as you may break your car very easy and still there is NOT a player, who have completed the championship in 1-st place on hard/expert difficulty mode.
